Orthodontic Clinical AssistantStrickland Orthodontics – Entry-Level | Baldwin County, AL
Position Overview
Ready to jump into an exciting career where you can learn, grow, and make a difference? As an Orthodontic Clinical Assistant, you’ll assist our orthodontists and work hands-on with patients, helping them get the smile they’ve always wanted. Whether you’re getting started in healthcare or looking to level up your skills, we’ve got your back with all the training and support you need!
What You’ll Do
- Assist orthodontists during patient appointments and procedures, including taking X-rays, impressions, and photographs.
- Perform orthodontic tasks like fitting bands, placing and removing arch wires, and scanning for clear aligners and appliances.
- Educate and motivate patients to follow treatment recommendations and maintain oral hygiene.
- Keep patient records organized and ensure accurate documentation of treatments.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment by following OSHA and CDC infection control standards.
- Support teammates, monitor patient flow, and ensure appointments run efficiently and on time.

Schedule & Locations
- 4-day workweek
- Typical schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:20 AM–4:30 PM (scheduled hours may vary slightly).
- Reliable transportation required for rotating patient care across our five locations. Most of your time will be spent in Fairhope and Spanish Fort, with occasional Fridays in Bay Minette and Foley.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 40 pounds.
- Manual dexterity for handling tools and patient care.
- Physical agility to reach, bend, squat, kneel, sit, and stand as needed.

Patient Care CoordinatorStrickland Orthodontics – Entry-Level | Baldwin County, AL
Position Overview
Love helping people, staying organized, and being the one who keeps things running smoothly? As our Patient Care Coordinator, you’re the first voice and face our patients interact with—and you set the tone for their entire experience. From the first phone call to the final appointment, you’ll help create a calm, confident, and caring environment that makes every patient feel like family.

What You’ll Do
- Greet and check in patients with warmth and professionalism
- Answer calls, texts, and emails with clarity, care, and attention to detail
- Schedule, confirm, and adjust appointments to keep the day running smoothly
- Keep patient information and records accurate and up to date
- Collaborate with your teammates to make the patient experience seamless
- Monitor arrivals, minimize wait times, and help maintain a calm front desk flow
- Jump in where needed to help with general admin and support
What We’re Looking For

- Clear communicator across phone, email, and in person
- 3+ years of customer service experience preferred (bonus if it's in healthcare or dental)

Treatment CoordinatorStrickland Orthodontics | Baldwin County, AL
Position Overview
Our Treatment Coordinators help new patients and families move from their first consultation to beginning treatment with confidence. You’ll create a welcoming experience, learn what matters most to each patient, and support the doctor during the exam. You’ll then help patients understand their recommended treatment, financial options, and next steps. This relationship-driven, goal-oriented role is ideal for someone who communicates confidently, follows through, and genuinely enjoys helping people make informed decisions about their care.
What You’ll Do
- Create a warm, personalized consultation experience for new patients and families
- Take patient photographs and X-rays and prepare information for the doctor’s examination
- Learn each patient’s goals and help them understand the doctor’s treatment recommendations
- Clearly present treatment fees, insurance benefits, and flexible payment options
- Coordinate appointments, treatment starts, records, and patient communication
- Build lasting relationships with patients who are still growing or not yet ready for treatment
- Thoughtfully follow up with patients and families as they consider their next steps
- Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate closely with our doctors and team
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of customer service experience
- Experience in healthcare, dental, financial services, or another relationship-focused role is preferred
- Connect easily with people and enjoy helping them feel confident in their decisions
- Are comfortable discussing finances and presenting information clearly
- Can balance warmth and compassion with organization and follow-through
- Are motivated by goals and take ownership of your results
- Learn quickly and are comfortable using new technology
- Communicate professionally and confidently with both children and adults
- Enjoy building relationships, understanding patient needs, and helping families confidently take the next step toward treatment
